Material Storytelling: Works in Progress
This page brings together the projects currently in development:
Each project begins with a metaphor: a seed that resists classification, a marionette weaving the possibility of a new world, and a system of materials and machines shaped by productive interference. These metaphors take form through thermochromic pigments, smart textiles, Saori weaving, and responsive robotics.
The works do not follow traditional scripts. Instead, they unfold through texture, movement, friction, and sensory response. Stories emerge from the behavior of materials and the conditions they inhabit.
Together, these projects explore themes of identity, transformation, and collaboration between the organic and the artificial. They invite us into environments where meaning is not predefined, but grows through contact, adaptation, and the unexpected outcomes of interaction.
Follow the Process
These works are still in development. As I continue exploring materials, prototyping forms, and shaping each narrative environment, I’ll be sharing fragments of the process from sketches and textile tests to performance notes and research images. You can follow along on Instagram for visual updates or subscribe to Substack for deeper reflections on the creative and research paths. This page will grow alongside the work. It is both a workspace and a public sketchbook.
