Material storytelling through puppetry, textiles, and responsive systems
I am an artist, puppeteer, and researcher working with material-led storytelling across textiles, objects, movement, and responsive technologies. In my performances and installations, puppets interact with their environments, materials shift in colour or texture, and narratives unfold through embodied, sensory engagement.
My practice imagines worlds where objects, plants, fabrics, and people share the act of storytelling. I draw on traditions of puppetry, body-based theatre, and computational art to create spaces where materials behave, react, and respond. Influenced by thinkers such as Donna Haraway and Ron Wakkary, I explore how creative practices can foster attentiveness, connection, and more-than-human collaboration.
