Textured Shadows
Conversations with Light
A space where shadows speak, textures merge, and stories evolve.
Here, puppetry, projection, and movement come together in a shifting conversation with light.
In these works, what’s small becomes large, what’s big becomes intimate. Puppets dissolve into light; images blend into form.
On the shadow screen, boundaries disappear. Characters transform behind, in front of, and within the screen—mirroring the constant change found in the natural world. Each piece is part of an ongoing exploration: how materials, light, and living systems can collaborate.
It is a layered practice of noticing, adapting, and letting things grow together.

Working Girl going to Motherhood

"Her name was Rose. She had a Lover, then came the War. She had a Child, the baby was Square. The square girl became a successful Working Girl. One day , she decided it was the time for her to have a baby too....

My name is
A physical theatre work about forced adaptation, identity loss, and the invisible cost of survival.
Created in Berlin and performed at Malta Drama Centre (2016), My Name Is blends live performance, puppetry, and audience participation to explore what happens when a person is labelled, masked, and reshaped to fit a system they cannot see.
Inspired by real migrant histories, this piece marks the beginning of my journey into robotic theatre — where control, resistance, and embodiment are constantly negotiated.
